Product Description

Formula 625 is a concentrated nitrite/borate based scale and corrosion inhibitor specifically designed to provide protection to closed hot water and chilled water systems that contain steel and yellow metal components. Accumulation of scale and corrosion in closed water systems reduces system efficiency and increases energy costs. Formula 625 is designed to control corrosion and protect all metals commonly used in water systems.

Formula 625 does not contain silicates and is colorless, reducing any staining potential. Formula 625 can be used full strength and requires no pre-mixing.

Formula 625 is compatible with ethylene and propylene glycol based antifreeze.

Directions for Use

F-625™ is a nitrite/borate treatment package designed to control the corrosion of both mild steel and copper alloys in closed recirculating water systems. Consult your State Chemical sales representative for specific recommendations for your system. Maintain 700-900 ppm nitrite in the system water. Test this at least twice per heating or cooling season by sending a water sample to our Water Treatment Lab. Blowdown unit periodically to remove sludge. Not for use in potable systems.
