Product Description

The unique formula in Converter Coat™ effectively neutralizes existing rust and converts it to a protective black, polymeric coating.

PREVENT NEW RUST
Once dry, this black organic coating seals out rust-causing moisture and oxygen, providing a long lasting, rust-free surface.

WEATHER RESISTANT
Converter Coat’s tough finish helps protect metals against rain, sleet, snow, wind, humidity, rock salt, acid rain, smog and other corrosive conditions.

EASY APPLICATION
No brushing, rolling or dipping. Just wire brush away loose rust, aim Converter Coat and spray. Converter Coat’s smooth, black finish is ready to be painted over without tedious surface preparations.

Directions for Use

Remove any loose rust or scale from the surface with a wire brush. Remove contaminants, such as grease, oil or wax, from the surface with Current Issue® or State 999®. Shake can, then spray in even strokes from a distance of 10 - 12 inches until surface is fully coated. Allow 3 - 5 minutes of drying time between coats. Two coats are recommended. Allow 48 hours before applying top coat of paint. Invert can and spray to clear nozzle after each use.
